    Watching on ifollow

Don't know where to start with this game. Stoke won't have an easier home game against a very below par Luton. First half we lacked ideas and energy, playing at a very slow pace. We were far too preditable in attack and any balls that found their way into the box, and there weren't many, were easily snapped up by the Stoke defence. Their opener came from sloppy play in attack which Stoke were abe to turn around quickly and launch a long ball which cried out for Bradley to just get rid but a slip gave the ball to two gleeful Stoke players who walked it into the net. Second half began a little better to be fair and at last we began to have more urgency but the final ball in to Collins never came. We had one shot on target all game and to be honest I can't remember it. My focus was on the uncertainty we showed playing out of defence. Typified by Stokes second which came from a hurriedly took free kick given straight back and a high ball into the middle was headed in unchallenged. Bree at fault there as he was together with Rea for the third, a comical mix up allowing Stoke to walk in another goal. Need to tell our players Christmas was two months ago, three gifted goals to a team that had been in poor form of late and have much chance as going up as Wycombe do. Playing poor against the likes of Brentford is one thing. You can put it down to superior opposition but this Stoke side look like they've just come off a building site. Don't want to dwell too much. This was our worst performance of the season. Watched the Coventry Brentford game on TV earlier and Brentford were bloody awful as were Swansea no doubt having been thrashed by Huddersfield. All teams have bad periods and we are no different. Need however to start turning things around before the pack below start getting too close.
Off to drown my sorrows! Keep the faith!

Bradley ran past Fletcher to play him onside, he should have held the defensive line with Rae and Cranie.

A bit harsh even partly blaming Bree for the third when he was sitting on the bench.

Not a great pass from Cranie but WTF was Rea doing.

            Sloppy play !

It happens week in , week out, with many players guilty not just the usual suspects.

The worrying thing is it seems to be a mindset as though we are incapable of playing any other way.

Today just happened to be sloppier than usual and got punished where we might have got off lightly on another occasion.

Yep the attacking tempo has been too slow for a while now. Cornick needs to be more direct and pace up front used of the bench earlier. We still have credit from the first half of the season and there are far worse teams below us but we need to start picking up points soon. Lockyer was a big miss especially with Pearson out too.

We were class against Brentford away even though we lost.

Rest of your note bang on

It looked like Bradley could have stepped up with the rest of the defence on the first? He seemed to drop back behind them. Then he has an embarrassing moment. Tbf heís been quality recently though.

Overall 3 at back didnít work, so many players having a 4 out of 10 day didnít help and Bree and Rea more like a 2 for showing up

Fletcher dominated in the air, in fact I think they may have won every header against our back 4

                  Big game v Milwall now

Not Brentford specifically, just when you lose to a team you know have better quality its easier to take. However Stoke are an awful side to watch who lack quality and confidence. For NJ it would have been a ideal chance to silence his doubters. However we got it wrong tactically and gifted them goals. Our play reminded me of the uncertainty we showed in the first half of last season. We are However a much stronger side this season so hopefully just a bad day at the office.

Back 3 never works, tried it a few times and we let goals in.

Fletcher seems to score against us whoever he plays for. No excuse for that hairdo though!
