A Stoke fan here, Hope you donít mind me posting on here. I wanted to share my view on todayís game, you have a good looking side there which put us under some pressure at times. I believe NJ switched formation during the game (which he did when we had him as manager as well), I thought that gave us the slight edge in the second half. We seemed to have more time and space on the ball to bring Fletcher, Powell and Campbell into the game. NJ shows passion all the time, in interviews and on the side lines. You played well today I thought. Good luck for the season. NJ will have you top of the league on his Ďstatsí. Us fans bought into his words and ways, most loved this guy when he was with us, however, in the end, stats donít win games, look at todayís game. Too big of a club/expectations and job for him at the wrong in his career. Hope you guys have a decent season ahead. You guys and us deserve a good season after the last one. Stay safe Luton!

          Cheers Stokie,

My view in Stoke based on the three games we have played against you.

MON is an incredibly defensive manager. Obviously forged on his time with N.Ireland.

Powell is your stand out player controlled the vital 15 minutes after hslf time.

Tyrese Campbell looks a good signing.

Doubt you are good enough to be in top two but you should sneak the play offs.

Pullis got hounded out of your club for playing ugly defensive football. MON is even worse.

But cheers for returning NJ though.

I watched the game with Stoke commentary ..... they spoke about those 2 Stoke lads and said loads of times about them continually being Ďgroundedí. Says it all really.

Stoke are well organised under Michael OíNeill.
Youíll stay up. But thatís all.

We are gonna have a better than expected season.
.... need an additional goal scorer to help James Collins out though.

Most supporters think that their club is bigger than it really is in the overall scheme of football. I'd suggest that Stoke supporters are in the top half of the Premier League for actually thinking this.

Accurate assessment of the game in which your forwards showed more pace and imagination than ours

Itís nice to see some other fans appreciate some good comments by other fellow fans. This is lost in football today. This league is tough, anyone can beat anyone! The other comments are what I expected really. I wasnít saying the we are a Real Madrid club. 11 consecutive seasons in the PL, a European season & FA cup final puts us up there. We spent 60 plus million in our 1st season back down here, money isnít an issue, that speaks for itself. However, we are a shadow of what we were a few days back! Anyway, good luck for the season ahead, Iíll leave now before I get pelters!

Stoke looked fairly solid, although hard to judge as we also looked toothless.

Think we'll both stay up this year, certainly a few worse teams.
