'To rear up against your own team-mates was disgraceful behaviour. I won't accept it and you can take it from me he will not be in the team on Tuesday.' - Joe Kinnear after the game.

Football's ups and downs encapsulated in 2 minutes - Pen given, Howard snatches the ball off Nicholls, misses pen, has to be retaken, misses again, York get the ball down the other end and score but disallowed.

      Wild celebrations when Hillier scored.

Don't think some fans knew their equaliser disallowed.

Recall some people bemused about the wild celebrations at the end for getting a draw.

There were people on the coach arguing about the final score!

No names on here - as far as I am aware, two of them don't post and the other one posted very occasionally about ten years ago but when Radio 5 gave out that it had finished 2-1 they made comments along the lines of "What are they talking about" and "They just said that we won". Others told them that we did but they were adamant that it was 2-2. We eventually convinced them but they still get reminded about it all these years later.

Hah. Mate got very pissed lunchtime before the 1980 QPR away game. QPR went two up and only after their goals me mate "came round." He saw our two goals and went away thinking we won 2 0. It was on Match of the Day that evening and was being shown in the Co-Op club. Needless to say he made a tit of himself saying "that QPR goal was disallowed" etc. Of course, no one at the club mentioned it again

I didn't realise Blackpool scored just after half-time - due to fans boycotting and I was still coming back from bar.

At Play-off first leg in 2017.

When they scored again I turned to Crumps and said a draw is not a bad result I guess.

He said "Blackpool scored 25 minutes ago."

Years ago, we played Welling in a friendly - the only goal was scored by Mark Stein in injury time at the end of the first half. When the Luton News came out the following week I got a call from someone saying that there was a mention in there that we had won 1-0. I said that we did. He said that it was a goalless draw - apparently, he went to the loo just before half time and didn't realise that there had been a goal. Again, it is never mentioned to him
