    Well intentioned ST over payments

Posted by Squirrel on 26/3/2020, 8:13:07

OS twitter posted about a Family renewing STs and also donating 1k to the club 👏
I think the club should clarify how this money is going to be used if people want to do this.
I am happy to contribute but not happy if money is going to be used to help pay players on large contracts of multi thousands per week. Unless I am mistaken they are still being paid ?
Needs to be used to help club staff ( back room / ticket office etc ) just saying

Why not have a donations link so people who sent have a season ticket can chip in ten, twenty, quid etc... IF they can afford to?

Basically what people would be spending on match tickets and at the ground currently if there were any games on.

I believe that this is on the agenda for a (conference call) LTST board meeting next week.

Might be best to get it up soon if it is considered a goer - we were all asked to take a 20 per cent wage cut yesterday so as the days and weeks go by people will have even less spare cash.

Like I said happy to contribute & get its all cash flow to the club
Not a dig at the club at all
I trust 2020 implicitly to do the right thing , just some clarification would help and may also help more people to contribute
