York, first leg of the playoffs.

No roof, pi55ed down the entire game and although we dominated the game they got the one and only goal!

Soaked through most of the way home and will never forget the embarrassing throwing of the toilet roll from them when their players came out the tunnel.

                        Bournemouth match didn't start.

I got there about two minutes before kick off and as I entered the ground people were just starting to leave.

Part of the pitch suddenly iced over allegedly.

Two different games, I think. One postponed, one lasted eight minutes.

I think that the postponement was March 2004 and abandoned game was October 2008.

I'd forgotten about the postponed one. As the afternoon proceeded that seemed like a very hasty decision. It wouldn't have been under the lights anyhow of course.

Was there a home game v Chesterfield also called off minutes before kick off? On a Saturday I think?

I'm sure the Bournemouth game was called off just before kick off. If I'm right, what was the other game abandoned after a few minutes?

Wasn't there a York game abandoned due to snow?

Yes, I think it was stopped just after half-time, and Orange Sophie tried unsuccessfully to get the money back.

Couple of weeks previously had got to Hartlepool to find the game was off.

Yep I went Hartlepool too. Utterly pissed it down all day. IIRC Newcastle, Sunderland, and Middlesbrough games were all called off earlier but Hartlepool's was still on. Got to the ground, first person I saw was Mr Pyper who said was off. Not surprised considering how wet it was. Just frustrated we travelled all that wait to go shopping in Asda!

Yes - see above and yes, the York game was abandoned due to snow. That was in December 2010. When it was replayed we won 5-0 and they ended with nine men after Ingham, their keeper, was sent off early in the game and Jonathan Smith later on. The game that was called off was an early kick-off due to the problems the previous season. If it had been 3pm, it would never have started. There was a row with Satsuma Sophie about the gate money for the rearranged game and whether season ticket holders should have to pay to attend it.

                                          That's right,12 O'clock kick off?

I didn't go, living to the west of Luton it had already started snowing and I guessed the game wouldn't finish.

Drove to near Chester, got a lift down, settled into DPS, there was a one minute silence for something and the games was halted after 4 minutes. No idea why they started really. Very snowy journey home.

Nowhere near as bad as Hyde, as mentioned by Music Critic. Drove down, awful performance, various motorway closures, ended up driving round Nottingham and back in Manchester about half two in the morning. Back on the M60 and stuck in a traffic jam at half eight that morning...at the M67 turnoff for - Hyde.

The footballing gods can be cruel! That was the worst performance I've seen under the KR lights I think.

24 October 2000. Loads of Luton fans went to Rochdale v Macclesfield - we had more fans there than Macclesfield. Macclesfield went two up in about half an hour but Rochdale got two late goals. Lee Glover got one of the Macclesfield goals. Greg Rioch was also playing for them. David Bayliss was playing for Rochdale.
