Whats Radsb think

Since the discussion this morning I watched the third episode. I won't spoil it for people though - it got back on track I thought. As a drama based on real events then it's good entertainment - that's how I'm watching it. |
I am stifling groans about authenticity but they have done well and got me thinking about tactics etc. When I first researched the era I couldn't work out how formations of 118 and 127 produced goalless games. Gradually I worked out about the mass charge, melee and "breakthrough" on goal which they show the Old Etonians using. It tied in to Luton press reports talking about a "heavy set of forwards" indicating this mass charge. So it's really got me thinking.
What did you think of it?
