What a difference a Rae makes

Posted by crumpsall on 13/2/2020, 10:41:36

Not only has his presence galvanised the team and brought out better performances in several players....it also seems to have made certain negative posters disappear!

Great to see him back, there is always some doubt for me when a player returns after a long-lasting injury (my fave at the time, Lil Fuccillo, was never the same after his leg-break) - let's hope Danny Hylton's return has a major impact too.

    We can still do this....

We don't want to lose Saturday now to kill the momentum and confidence. Need at least a point.

Absolutely and it shows little Luton can win games at this level when you are organised and determined regardless of how much money you have in the bank.

Agreed, things are looking brighter and if we can string a few results together, who knows, we just might turn things around.

          Fingers crossed.

Rea won't stand any hiding from the players.

yes, last night he was more verbal than Bradley. Nathan Jones got the on-field captain selection right.

Let's hope he can stay fit and maintain his performance levels. What a splendid mood there was in the Brickies last night post match, great to see so many smiling faces!

Rea has been superb since he's come back into the team. Is he out of contract in the summer? One we should be looking to keep hold of!

He only had a year left in May. Said then he would love to extend. Haven't heard he has extended. I expect club was waiting to see how the recovery went.

I was under the impression that a number of the squad last year had automatic 1 year extensions in their contracts due to the promotion, would be surprised if Rea wasn't one of them.
