Also on his performance at the weekend, Jones said: "He was 1,050m high intensity in 78 minutes, which is a full match performance with 16 minutes go to. Itís a massive physical effort that people donít see.Ē |

High-intensity what though? Because I've seen every game and he looks off the pace constantly, he slows everything down, his passing, shooting and movement are bang average and he's useless defensively. So what exactly about his high-intensity play is getting him in, every week? |
It basically sounds like he runs around a lot. I can do that. But I'd be nearly as bad as Ryan at actually playing football.

Perhaps we should get Paula Radcliffe in if we just want a high-intensity runner. |
He really doesn't help himself practically every time he opens his mouth.

But to be fair I can't think of any fans who don't think he doesn't help himself with some of the things he comes out with.

tunnicliffe is well summed up by watching the 1st minute of the highlights against cardiff . they get a corner , he is standing (marking ?)next to no 15 who then peels away to the back post and has a free header from about 1 yd out . meanwhile Tunnicliffe stands there like a statue and then points to others !!! he does it every game . he is incapable of marking and staying with a man . |
