Anyone hoping to go to England Euro 2020 games (assuming that they qualify)

How to buy England tickets at UEFA EURO 2020

Subject to England's qualification and following the draw for UEFA EURO 2020, fans will be able to apply for tickets in early December.

For nations with official membership schemes, their allocation will be offered to members only. This means that official England tickets will only be available to members of the England Supporters Travel Club.

Even though England are expected to play the majority of their games at Wembley Stadium, these fixtures are not be treated like home matches.

Therefore, the best way to watch the Three Lions at UEFA EURO 2020 is to join the England Supporters Travel Club now.

We expect to receive a high allocation of tickets for England's group games. If you already have some qualifying caps and providing you upgrade to the England Supporters Travel Club before the end of November, you'll have a great chance of being allocated tickets to the tournament.

The England Supporters Travel Club is £75 for adults and £30 for juniors. In addition to access to EURO 2020 tickets, you'll receive a minimum £5 off your home match tickets including the March and June fixtures.

To upgrade to the England Supporters Travel Club now, go to TheFA.com/joinestc.

75 quid for the right to buy a ticket. Which might only cost £50.

How much are every other country charging for the right to support them?

I have tickets for a couple of games in Bilbao at £50 from Uefa cheapest ones behind the goal which suits me,I have no idea who I will be watching through my beer goggles yet.

Very jealous Tony, the rebuilt San Mames is a magnificent football arena and Bilbao is my favourite city for all it offers.

Spot on, sounds like you've got it all worked out!

Yes, San Sebastian is well worth a trip would look pretty glorious June time.

Food goes up a whole different notch there. Similar set up as Bilbao with a tight old town with a lively nightlife. Great museum there as well.

Both cities comfortably covered on foot as well.

Haven't been there but thinking of doing a city break next year. What makes it so special?

The food, even at cafe level is sensational, you will have the best meal of your life there. The people are friendly, loud and proud of the identity.

The Guggenheim is always a spectacular treat whatever is on. Other museums are excellent and compelling.

The nightlife is raucous and addictive especially in the old town.

Do try and take in a game at San Mames it isn't known as The Cathedral for nothing. The pre-match around the local streets is a carnival!

Tickets are generally available for most games but is complicated by the power of the television companies. They select games to show in 5 or so week tranches so you don't know what day or time any game is to be played until within that window.

Last time I went I hedged by going for the whole extended weekend (games can be staged from Friday night through to Monday night) and got a Sunday noon game.

I've got tickets in Amsterdam same, hopefully England won't be playing so the City won't be full of dicks.

Is it too late now to apply for tickets via eufa lottery?

Think you need to wait until after draw in Dec when presumably all games will go back on sale.

Hmm, there was a July deadline for the 1st lottery. Then it says this about Dec lottery:

                  Next sales phase: December 2019
The next opportunity to apply for tickets will be in December 2019 (after the finals draw) when tickets will be made available to fans through the participating national associations. However, to be eligible to apply for tickets during this phase, fans must meet the specific criteria defined by the national associations.

So does this mean you need to pay that £75 to FA to be eligible for the Dec lottery???

Wembley Stadium and freebie "jollies" for FA executives don't pay for themselves you know.

I guess you could argue that people who follow England in Kazakhstan etc should have first dibs on tickets, but if ALL tickets go to England Supporters Club members that seems a bit harsh. I queued up at Wembley from 5.00am as a teenager during Euro 96 for England v Spain QF tickets - and itís still one of my best football memories (though Luton ones are obviously top!). Hope there will be chance for some people outside the travel club, especially kids, to get to some games too.

Bloody hell, £75 to be a member of a travel club, and some go on about high taxation under a future Labour government!
