    Thoughts on Yeterday

Thought we lost our momentum when Brown went off injured

Nothing wrong with Potts goal as proven by replays

Shambolic defending to go 0-1 Down. Bradley should have launched it into the Main Stand which would still leave Bree as the last Defender.

Same two players involved in Forest's 2nd goal. Both need to be taken out of the firing line at the expense of Bolton and maybe Lloyd Jones should now be given a long overdue chance.

Tunnicliffe substituted again and i would replace him with Butterfield.

Apart from Pearson and Crainie we dont look competitive enough and need to add more bite in the tackle, in midfield and defence

Brown likely to be out until Leeds at least if its a hamstring strain.

McManaman showed plenty of bite when coming on and a lovely finish. Lua Lua also a danger down the left, but nobody was attacking the near post for his crosses.

Would play these two wide right and left at Reading with Collins down the middle

    Any thoughts?

Personally I think we should go full diamond next week

Crainie back to RB, Butterfield at the base, Pelly and Tunniclife either side and Shinnie or McMananananaman at the tip with Collins and Cornick central

Bit more solid and donít lose again before the break, possibly Jones for Bradley (or maybe even Sheehan)

Cranie was far too slow at right back at the start of the season.

That said, perhaps now is the time to just tell both full backs to sit instead of bombing on forward.

Thatís my thinking, more compact, other option could even be Pearson RB

              Jones and Bradley CB

              And Crainie holding midfielder

But I seem to recall weíve lost every time Pearson has played right side

Cranie to right back is a good idea.

Not sure about mcmanananan at tip of the diamond, though itís worth a look. Think we need Shinnie in there somewhere too of Brown isnít fit.

Iíd go Shinnie but McManaman seems to offer a goal threat
