Whilst I am questioning the Guardian impartiality here,I am not for one second suggesting lots of other papers aren't just as guilty of peddling political agendas. |
Today the ONS published "we have more people in employment than ever before and the last time ,in percentage terms, we had this rate of employment was 45 years ago".
The Guardians headline was as follows:
The first cracks have begun to emerge in Britainís resilient labour market as job creation slowed over the summer months, in a sign of the stress facing the UK economy as Brexit looms.(The Guardian)

If you read the rest of the article it explains why they've said that. |
We can have more people in employment than ever before whilst still seeing some worrying trends in the market.
It's not one or the other.

you're admitting to reading the 'Guardian', the polar opposite to the 'Daily Express'.|

Does the Daily Express still exist ? No I don't read either but I get headline summaries sent to me as part of my job ( only financial and political headlines). |
My paper of choice is the Daily Star.

Isnít the daily star basically the express but with the bigger words removed?|
