    Luton shirts

Live in Central Beds, work sometimes in Bedford. I would say that the amount of kids these days who are in Luton shirts around these places far outweighs the combined kits of premiership teams.

Rewind 10 years ago and it was a rarity to see anyone on a Luton kit anywhere.

Yet another example of how 2020 have developed this club.

I see more Luton shirts now than anytime since the 1990's before Kohler and Cheery ran the club into the ground with their dreadful ways.

I would agree with you but there are certainly more prem shirts/ supporters in Luton which really pisses me off. All my sons friends follow prem sides. They are always giving him shit about supporting Luton. I tell him at least you've actually seen your team play.

I didn't really want to mention that. However pretty sure 2020 are aware.

Maybe the onus may be on us fans though ?

The problem is that is difficult for them (or us fans) to do much with every game selling out. They already do lots of things such as the football training weeks during school holidays and met the player sessions at the club shop.

My lad is 12 and Iím glad to see a good few of his schoolmates are Luton. When we played Newcastle he thought he was ever so cool as kept coming across people he knew around SJP!

Most of the PL following kids tend to be Liverpool, which assuming their parents are a similar age to me, shows that daddy was a glory hunter back in the day, as theyíd have picked them during their 80ís success.

There is on MK kid. Iíve made it quite clear he isnít welcome at birthday parties or sleepovers....

I see quite a few Luton shirts in Dunstable and Houghton. Obviously a lot of people from Tithe Farm support London teams, through their families having moved up.

Definitely see quite a lot of Luton shirts in Dunstable but also loads of London teams too annoyingly.

My eldest goes to Manshead. Lots of Luton fans there, staff and pupils.

My family were traditionally Chelsea as up until my grandfather moved here with AC Delco, they all lived about 10mins from Stamford Bridge. Dad was very young when they came to Dunstable so he chose Luton once old enough to follow football. Didnít go down well from what I gather...

My lad goes to school in Toddington, so the catchment area covers Harlington, Tebworth, Chalton etc...The kids from the villages seem to be almost exclusively Luton.

From memory, I recall being pretty much the only Luton fan amongst my peers when I was a kid, despite us being in the 1st division at the time. Considering our lower league status in recent years, if my boyís school is anything to go by, then the future looks promising in terms of support.

Loads of us Luton fans in Leighton (Watford too, though not as much I think)
Agree that 2020 have brought the spirit back into the club, the seeds are there for a bright future. kids especially now I find aren't embarrassed to be supporting Luton. Good times.
