Initially it was fully funded from the sale of Newlands and the flats
Then it was Newlands, flats and some Prem money
Then it was Newlands, flats, Prem money and some parachute money and some external grants (homes England etc)
Now it's Newlands, flats, Prem, parachute money, external grants plus player sale revenue and an impact on our transfer budget. With a housing market on the downturn which will affect flat revenue, plus obviously it will flood the market a bit, leaving, as you say, a large amount of debt to be paid off.
The build is behind schedule which costs £xxx per day and will probably only get worse as the weather turns.
And to top it all off, we could have had it built, and be playing in it now, in exchange for the flats but 2020 didn't even entertain the offer.
