Did it distort the truth though? Badly edited..but did it really change the message? He said (minutes apart) "we are going to go down to the capitol" and then at the end "and fight like hell or you wont have a country"

We saw what happened. His cult marched down to the capitol. and did fight like hell. and invaded the building. And had gallows for his VP. And then after a few hours they stopped as soon as he said stop.

Would they have done that had he not given that speech? Why did he not instruct it to stop before it started?

Why did he sue for 10 billion until he realised he would have to put his dodgy finances on didplay - there is a reason he "fought like hell" to keep them quiet?

Look it another way - we all saw what happened that day. The panorama programme didnt really hange that. A year later the editing was highlighted and THEN it became an issue?

So the BBc made a clumsy edit, trump decided (as is his MO) to sue them for a comic book villain sie amount rather than just accept the apology. Now he is backtracking. BBC handed over all documents requested btw.

So no lie from the BBC as the overall message was what happened. Plenty from trump.
