Yes, it was. I actually met Hugh.

The day we beat Man City to stay up, we went to Blackpool for the evening. We were very popular. Someone came up to us and said that he used to play for Luton. We were dubious, as you can imagine. Someone asked him his name. It was Hugh. Not the obvious person to pretend to be, so I said to him - You played two games for Luton, who were the opponents. He got the answer right which was sufficient proof for me that he was Hugh but he was very impressed that I knew that information.
