My post is not seeking to justify Jayten’s decisions, in general, with regard to their time as custodians of the club. However, for both Davies and Barnett it worked out well for their careers, as well as for the team at that time and therefore that particular transfer could be justified at that time. Perhaps the more pertinent point is not about that decision itself but how that money was then used/spent and with regard to subsequent transfers decisions they agreed to ?
