I think if you’re being paid fortune to run a football club, and head up a stadium project and claim to be supporters, you shouldn’t burden the club with bundles of debt to line your own grubby pockets even further.

I’m fully aware clubs and businesses operate with debt, but additional debt if it is the case, to pay bonuses etc etc is immoral and damaging to the club.

Good governance includes being open to scrutiny
