I didn't like Switzerland. Culturally couldn't fit in, administratively everything felt overcomplicated, got into a negative thought pattern where everything always pissed me off even if it shouldn't have, whole experience felt like an ordeal and I couldn't wait to get away.

Relevant because it's a north west European country that on paper isn't that different to the UK - when Bloomfield or Wilshere mentioned Nordas was finding it hard to adapt I heard people say "How hard can it be for Nordas to adapt from Norway to England, aren't they basically the same?" Nordas in England could easily be a Brko in Switzerland situation. And that doesn't necessarily mean he's just homesick and can't settle in Holland or Portugal or wherever.
