Where were they meant to push up to?

We had O'Reilly in midfield at that point. Literally had no one who could relieve the pressure off the back and hold the ball and no legs to run at them.

The manager proper shat himself and had a huge head fuck. Waiting four minutes after their second goal, in injury time, to bring on the strikers. And then whacking it long to Dan Burn as a makeshift target man. £8m a year for that tactical genius.
