Maybe I'm biased but I just can't see how Ross Barkley isn't a better footballer than Anderson or Rice. And he's certainly better than Jordan Henderson.

I think it's typical of how we value all the wrong things in English football. If Barkley were Spanish or Argentinian he'd have been in their squad for sure.

Not saying it would have made a difference last night mind, given how Tuchel set the team up in the last half an hour.
