Really? Behind all the nonsense regarding Iran, ticket prices, match officials, the onfield experience has far surpassed my expectations. None of the smaller nations who might have been whipping boys, have embarrassed themselves but many have competed well and have got some decent results. In that respect it's been one of the better world cups in my memory. Italia 90 remains the benchmark.
