I don't know what has happened, or even who this is about - so to be clear, I'm not trying to insinuate anything about anyone here. But there are possible reasons which the club wouldn't necessarily want to share publicly, such as disciplinary or performance-related scenarios. It wouldn't be fair (or possibly even legal?) for them to give that information out, so if nothing is said then that shouldn't automatically be counted against the club. Of course, it could also just be that they are restructuring or something like that.
