    6 years ago today, in the Covid interrupted season, we won 1-0 at Swansea City with a 72nd minute headed goal from James Collins.

    3 players have been born on this day. The first was William “Tip” Brown in 1874, followed by James Ashton in 1888 and lastly Joe Arnison in 1924.

    As an aside I’m not sure if Caught Jester has looked back at the Rodney Green thread from Thursday. However, if not, FrebnBob has now posted a report (from the Daily Telegraph) of the abandoned 1969 Luton v Watford game, as requested.
