    You have to think what the odds mean. 2/1 favourite means the probability of winning is 33%. 2/3 of the time it won't win, it's much more likely to not win than win.
    The key to making a profit is finding the overpriced options. That 50/1 winner, somebody thought it would have more than a 2% chance of winning and subsequently got rewarded.
    Don't think that the odds relate to what order the horses will finish. For example, there might be a great horse who is coming back from injury. It has the talent to win, but it has a good chance of coming tailed off last.
