I agree about Hashioka, although I still find our dealings in the January 24 transfer window to be bizarre.

Why we thought it would be a good idea to sign Holmes but then presumably felt he wouldn't of a standard to be able to play in the Premier League (so loaned him straight back to Reading) when, at that time, we were making a really strong fight of staying up and might have been able to attract better players I still remain bemused by.
