Nothing to say the rules have changed though regarding that, when they did say there was a change to the former staggering of equity injections.

Even if accumulated profits weren't allowed, I think your loophole of paying a dividend then reinvesting equity would work. Not my area of expertise, but I think if the dividend was paid to the holding company and then reinvested there would be no tax liability. The possibility of doing that would be enough to make it nonsensical to not allow accumulated profits to be used.
