It’s not really the length of contracts being given that’s the issue, it’s the daft amount of risks taken on too many players who don’t have any real potential to sell on at a profit. Baptiste, Wells, Saville, Naismith, Marv, etc. Big wages, can’t play 35+ games, we stepped so far away from our model that got us success, that’s what’s done us over past three years. A lot of the contracted list will be moved on. Just hope Jack is given the tools and not a week before kick off.
