Brentford (buy cheap abroad and sell on for big profit) cannot remember how they got to the premier league, did they throw a lot of money about (Bees fan/owner Bentham) or was it done on the cheap like Luton? I believe they are like Brighton/bloom with multi club links. 17350 capacity LEGO kit, sell out.
Bournemouth (not sure what business model they have, just use big bucks and aim for high finish) I seem to remember some rich Russian splashing cash to get promoted(or did he come after? I know it’s American owned now) 11000 stadium, plans to move or extend (?)
Brighton (normally spend big (?) were they promoted under Blooms ownership? A club with multi club links (hearts and st gilloise) 27500 stadium, but more than PC will be, do they sell out weekly?
The snobbish side of me sees us as a bigger club than all three of them (Traditionally, obviously they are light years away these days!
Can add Fulham to the mix, similar success wise (they have Euro success in favour) no big domestic cups
A club who were fortunate to get cash injection from al fayad and now Khan. Just completed ground to 27000 in a highbrow area.
Can you see Luton becoming like them and finishing comfortably 6-15th? Or are we likely to be a like another “B”urnley?! (Funny enough they have more success than all the rest put together)
Part of me would be happy to be a solid championship side but then want to see top players in prem at PC.
