This is how I understand it. The main entrance stays open. The river is going to be deculverted and realigned roughly along the orange line.
The new entrance is along Church Street near where Eddies bar use to be. This enables access to the part of the car park cut off by the work on the river. The car park will continue for the time being but part of Plot A is where the construction compound will be in the future. Work on Plot A (flats) is scheduled to start in October this year and sales start in October 2026.
