    Squad review for League One 2026-27

    Honestly, I think we're going to end up just short next season. Unfortunately, that is going to lead to an enormous squad overhaul. Because of parachute payments, our budget this season is probably the third highest in the club's history after the last two years. It is going to mean budget cuts (even in the Championship that is likely to happen too). Here is what I would do come May. It looks like we may need to sign a dozen players this summer.

    (Of course no one knows contract lengths officially, but these are educated guesses).
