1)Dont bother to build a consensus
2)Have a plan of "bomb the shit out of everything"
3)Fail to see the strait could be closed. I mean obviously there was intelligence that said it was a probability but he ignored that
4)Demand the use of airbases after its started
5)Throw a hissy fit when use is granted as it wasnt granted before he had asked for it
6)Throw another hissy as we wouldn't send both carriers (one of which is in extended refit). Like about being promised both
7)Double down on insults. Say NATO wasn't there for him failing to understand NATO isn't his personal attack dog
8)Hint at a ground invasion - failing to notice that its likely they woudl take heavy drone casualties

So given this clusterfuck of absolute epic proportions, you somehow how see starer keeping us out as "not wanting to upset demographics" - wow
