Sometimes clubs that are in a downwards spiral just find it incredibly hard to turn it around.

There are reasons for everything. You can't just put it down to some fatalist 'the stars are against us' or 'cycles' or 'it's difficult to arrest the decline' (who has overseen the decline?) explanation. Our situation is completely abnormal

Isn't this sort of time when an organisation's leaders step up and really show what they're made of - in the bad times?

From our position of strength in the summer of 2024, these 2 season have been the biggest failures in our history (relatively speaking).
