To be honest I don't really know. So many say they want Sweet out but how much involvement is he actually having on the playing side on a day to basis? Yes, as CEO, the buck stops at him including our appalling recruitment but that surely doesn't count for the fact that players are told to play in bizarre formations (wingers with no target centre forward, Mick Harford type) and on form (a rarity granted) players being dropped and players unable to pass to team mate and incapable of cushion controlling on receiving a pass. Schoolboy stuff that well paid professionals seem unable to do. Literally me, even in my 50s, slightly overweight, and kicked a ball in anger about half a dozen times in the last 10 years, can do better.

Something seems very wrong in terms of the whole culture. And I don't know what it is or what the answer is, and I very much doubt just getting rid of the uninspiring Wilshere or Sweet will change that.
