Just googled it, this is the first Wikipedia sentence: "The Lomax family bought the house in 1666 and lived there until 1854 when Joshua Lomax sold it". I wonder if our resident local historian has researched a Lomax connection? RADSB did a marvellous job of analysing a photo from 1910 of Luton Reliance FC for me on Saturday evening - one of my family was club captain!
