JW was a gamble, a untried manager able to inspire the team to a good run to the playoffs, given a chance to change the squad bringing players in and offloading others.
The gamble does not appear to be working.
Teams moral and confidence still very low, this due to strange tactics that the players are not able to play, bad team selection creating an unbalanced team with players not playing to their best.
The transfer window has not improved us, still no right back, forward who has been dropped after a few matches, inconsistent CM playmaker so ends up playing right midfielder.
Midfielder on the bench, not an improvement to what we have.
Midfielder injured.
Not JWs fault but we have offloaded players since relegation from the PL who would have a difference in the last 2 seasons.
I can't see anything in JW which would over time improve the side, if left till next season will be another wasted season of disappointment.
The whole squad needs dismantling and start from scratch to build a successful side, start from the basics to get a good spine to the team.
What we need to start with is a good experienced league1/championship manager who is able to do the basics well.
