When I started research on the Victorian era in 2013 I had a book in mind and researched for that. But work stopped when Hatters' Heritage took over.
I'm now going to throw all my efforts into a book again - Luton Town, the road to the Southern League 1885 -1894.
It's a black hole in our history and, will fill gaps in the formation of the Southern League. Not only will all the games be included but I will try to bring the players and staff to life as well. Work starts tomorrow so I won't be around as much.
Mr J.C. Lomax having been called upon to give his opinion upon the proposed formation of a Town Club, said he was most emphatically in favour of a proposed Luton Town Football Club - 11th April 1885![]()
