    Spot on. We were thinking longer term when short term issues should have been the priority. So, we should have made a short term appointment. It wouldn't have mattered if they only lasted a year or 18 months. If we retained our C'ship status, with this season looking relatively easier to survive and even thrive, we could have then thought longer term again

    I said at the time that Bloomfield might have been the right bloke but it was at completely the wrong time. But the club had to be different just for the sake of being different
