In the interview at the start of this thread he says he joined after we were relegated from the Prem so he must have had some involvement with Baptiste and Walters being signed? Regardless he's definitely been involved with players signed in at least the last 2 windows. The proof is in the pudding. We are middling in the 3rd Division.

You have to ask the question why is he nervous in the interview? Is it because he's aware he's not doing very well?

His demeanor doesn't inspire any confidence but I am judging him on the way the signings that he presumably, as the first team player recruitment manager, is responsible for signing have performed. Which is, one relegation and one mid table display so far. This division is tight, we are just as close to relegation as we are to automatic promotion give or take a point. It only needs a slight tweak to get promoted but I wouldn't trust him to do my weekly food shop, let alone pinpoint what we need in January. He's out of his depth and is going for injury prone players, or players that aren't really consistently good, and being charged well over what they are actually worth.

Compared to the way we recruited from about 2014 onwards until about 2023 he looks well off of it. Just all round poor judgement.
