Don’t disagree but if you went back a ‘couple’more years, which is still under 2020 Tenure (and some of the MadMan) you get

Morris
Doughty
Bell
Burke
Berry (I know I’m stretching it)
Adebayo (I know not left)
Snodgrass
Lansbury

It does feel (and it’s a feeling vs any knowledge) that at some point we stopped recruiting on character - the chips are down so knuckle down. Eg Clark vs Chong. You could argue Chong was more technically skilful but I’d rather have a team of Clarks vs a team of Chongs
