In terms of recruitment, GS did say that “we don’t always get it right” and players are judged more at the point they leave the club as to whether they have been a “good” signing. On the striker front, do not forget that we still have Brown and Adebayo, who shout be back fairly soon (Adebayo a bit longer term). Adebayo up front alongside either Wells, Yates, Brown or Hamidi is an exciting prospect.
