It was clear to many that the problems were more deep rooted than the ex Manager. I would actually say he was not even the biggest single problem. The only caveat would be if he actually recommended the players we signed and told the recruitment team "don't bother signing fullbacks as I can destroy a number of players by playing them out of position". Not very likely, is it?
