Under N Jones, I was under the impression that we didn't just make decisions on the numbers. Scouting (in person or on video) was also done and research on personalities was also done. The 'no dickheads' rule of N Jones. I might be wrong but I'm sure that was the case and I think Jones himself said we don't recruit just on numbers. That, plus N Jones and his team just seemed to have deep knowledge of professional footballers

Something must be different now to when N jones was hear because, aside from Still's first 12 months, whenever N Jones hasn't been our manager, recruitment has been, to put it politely, patchy for years

The recruitment team and their processes have to be, at least, partially responsible. The evidence is there in front of us most Saturdays

A good recruitment process is something that should be change-of-manager proof but the manager should always have the final say on signings
