We don't have a striker who can play up front on their own., and none of our midfielders /attackers are delivering In the ten position. Aside from maybe Walters there are no natural full backs.

Given we've won three from four with three at the back and looked reasonably solid I'd be surprised to see us switch.

I would like to see a 3142 - with Naismith, Saville or even Baptiste in that DM role just in front of the CBs.

Gives that player the whole pitch to look up and pass into and if the WBs are pushing high they can drop into the three to defend as a four if needs be.

Also takes a bit of pressure off our WBs who are all far more attack than defensively minded - and provides support for Yates.

It is a formation that could also get the best out of captain Naismith and talisman Alli - who have both underperformed so far.
