    I have a friend who is a season card holder at Portsmouth. When we signed Bramall, he told me that he is lightening quick winger and is a superb at whipping accurate crosses into the penalty area. He then went on to say, never play him as a left wing back, as he is not gifted at defending.

    I withhold my judgement until the lad is full match fit, but we did see the best and not so good from him today.

    We have found a fine replacement for Alfie, and hopefully the coaching staff can improve his entire game.

    Bedford were at times, a class above, but early days.
