    ...to beat AFC Wimbledon at home with the players currently at Bloomfield's disposal.

    If we lose or draw it will not be because we haven't got a dream 20 goal a season striker or Doughty's replacement in time.

    It will be because we didn't play to our ability.

    This isn't like last season where we went into the first game of the season against our 'promotion rivals' with a back three of Walters, Mengi and Johnson, Nelson in central midfield and Ogbene at RWB - who then left a few weeks later.

    That was truly mental and questions have rightly been asked of recruitment teams, board, Edwards etc

    However, this year, aside from some late editions, Bloomfield has the nucleus of his new squad in place - and now he has to deliver.

    Things are never absolutely perfect during a season, even at the start, and knowing how to get the best out of what you've got is exactly how a good manager earns their money.

    Good luck to him. I think he will do well.
