The thing is most of us said the Premier League was a free hit, take the money and spend it on the new stadium. The club did spend money it was that it wasnt enough on transfers as some changed their positions and wanted most of it or certainly a big chunk of it spent on said transfers.
The point that when we went up we didnt get any of the dollars until much later is lost on some.
If you look at the bigger picture the future was what is all about it has and always was about this. It's just some are bed wetters and now its the end of the world.
The club is stable for the first time in 140 years. The new stadium is being built. Yep we are in L1 but in a few years time we wont and hopefully we go up at the first time of asking.
The black cloud that has sat over us for two seasons in terms of defeats has impacted on many people's thinking. This season can be a reset for all if us.
I know Lutonians can be miserable gits and the sun never shines but there is a lot to be optimistic about, who would want to be in the shoes of a Sheff Wed supporter at the moment.
