With respect, that’s utter garbage.

I would have been content for ‘being competitive’ in the championship, not league one. We have roughly 40 million in parachute payments, plus an additional 5-10 million estimated, once most of the current crop are sold off. Our revenue will dwarf any of our competitors!

If we can’t compile together a team competing for promotion, with all the financial resources at our disposal, it’s another significant failure from the club!
