My take is that I suspect we are waiting on loans. Clubs likely won’t yet be finalised on who can go out.
My hunch is the lad from Stoke and Humphries from Ipswich, but that could be a perm signing.
I also think we will sign Michael Cheek. Albeit older than our usual signing he is interesting a number of League 1 clubs. He is a goal scorer and it would make sense to swap someone like Pepple for him, he scores goals for fun and I suspect he would love a move late in his career to a bigger club and better money.
If not I hope we are looking at Jatta.
The lack of signings this week and being away next however reduces the likelihood of bringing in players until just two weeks before the season starts, that isn’t ideal.
Currently despairing at seeing Lynch and Harris start at Hitchin tonight, that means Woodrow is nailed on involved tomorrow.
Hitchin are Step 4 now, Lynch and Harris needed to be starting against Boreham Wood who are back at Step 1.
