One of the great refs. Saw him a few times in lower leagues and you could see he was special. Got to the EPL and booked Shearer twice and sent him off - when Shearer did that annoying backing inall the time looking for a foul. Instead of using him as a template, the EPL coached his natural ability and common sense out of him.
