A bonus for you is a 1901 film featuring our former keeper Bill Perkins who we sold to Liverpool for £200. Peter Platt later took over from Bill Perkins for a while at Liverpool. Notice the bra shaped 6 yard lines. Keepers preferred to punch as they could be barged if they held the ball. They had the same colour shirt as the outfield players until the rules changed in 1904 - but some clubs did have thier keeper in a different shirt.
